Seminar with Professor Maja
WINA would like to invite members and guests to our in-person seminar with our guest speaker Professor Maja who will join us virtually on Thursday, 16 May from 12.30pm (AEST).
Professor Maja is a first generation Canadian, a sociologist, author and TEDx speaker as well as a confidence-builder and apology-hater.
Professor Maja’s full-time job is on the public speaking circuit where she gives talks and workshops to girls and women about all things related to confidence, communication and mindset. Professor Maja wrote her first book “Hey Ladies, Stop Apologizing… and other career mistakes women make” in 2015.
When Professor Maja is not giving talks, she is either teaching Sociology of Health part-time at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario or conducting her own research.
We look forward to hearing from Professor Maja on confidence building and why apologies kill confidence! Get in early to secure a spot!
