DESCRIPTION:WINA is delighted to invite you to our presentation with Bruce Gleeson of Jones Partners Insolvency & Restructuring about Ponzi Schemes and the fascinating case of Melissa Caddick.  \nBruce was appointed as one of the joint Receivers of Ms Caddick’s property and joint Liquidators of her company\,  Maliver Pty Ltd by the Federal Court on an interim basis on 15 December 2020. This was shortly after Ms Caddick’s disappearance in November 2020 after her Dover Heights property was raided by ASIC and the AFP. \nBruce will delve into the world of Ponzi schemes\, including Ms Caddick’s scheme\, other relevant recent cases and the evolution of the schemes. Bruce will also provide you with some key investigative aspects of the Caddick administrations including how to unravel such schemes\, what evidence is required\, how to prepare evidence for the Court and tips and tricks on how to manage such administrations. \nFY22 Members: Free for FY22 members of WINA.
